After several weeks of planning, enlisting volunteers, and donors from Northwood Pointe, the Collecting Cans to Crush Cancer team is ready to do their first pick-up in Northwood Pointe on Saturday, November 7th at 8 am. If you have signed up to donate plastics and aluminum cans, please leave them in front of your house next Saturday morning. Please do your best to separate the plastics from the aluminum (and remember, no glass). Trucks will drive through each neighborhood to collect the donation and redeem it into Cash for the Larsens. As this effort continues, we’ll be doing recyclable pick-ups to help the Larsen family as Todd overcomes his fight with Leukemia. Thank you again to all our volunteers (almost all kids in our neighborhoods) who have joined this effort to help support the Larsen family.
