Thoughts from Todd

It's been a little over a week now of being in the same room...which is pretty boring. I've had a near non-stop IV drip of various drugs (chemo, anti-nausea, steroids) and saline. Other than a rough morning yesterday, I feel better than I thought I would. Today I feel weak, run-down and just all around worn out. But that is to be expected. Most of the time I'm not thinking about why I am here. However, occasionally the surreal thoughts creep in. Like "I have Leukemia" and "I am in the hospital for a really long time". It's so weird! My main goal is to stay positive!

Kelly told me about the meeting this morning and I am totally blown away. I can not thank you enough for all the time and effort you are putting into ensuring my family is provided for.

Hi Todd - we wish you could have been at Pathways Church this morning to see everyone praying for your quick recovery! You were honored as a hero for all the great things you have done for our families and community and we could not be more proud to have you as a friend. Keep your chin up knowing that you have a lot of friends praying and waiting for you to come home! And we'll have a few cold Smithwicks here for you when you are ready.

Love, The Ruoffs

Hey Todd, this is Ryan, I've missed you so much. I know you're going to get better and will get through this. Today Out Of Order had it's first rehearsal. It went great but we missed you. We are preparing for Rock the Earth gig, Good News for Kids, and much more. We will be doing four original tunes and two cover tunes. I'll keep you updated. Get well, and hang in there.

Thinking of you this morning and hoping you are hanging in....

Chloe misses you and can't wait to see you.

Hey, can you watch DVD's in the hospital? Maybe we could pick up some seasons of shows that you might like to catch up on. I just started watching Dexter and love it!!!! Let us know, we'd love to help you pass the time.
